| Background Information |
Powercor had a problem with the security of keys which are
used to read meters. Many different employees came into contact with the keys. Being a
high security item the company and customers were frustrated by the inadequate system in
existence. The aim was to achieve a procedure where all desired techniques were put into a
reliable and consistent practice. |
| Recommendations |
The team came up with a range of solutions which attacked
various aspects of the problem. These ideas were then developed in an Implementation Plan
and a Follow Up plan to ensure that improvements would be ongoing and not short lived. |
